With this in mind, today we want to introduce you to an ingredient you’ll see in our newest product, RESET.

Meet active sulforaphane. 

Active sulforaphane is a bioactive substance made from the compound, glucoraphanin that is naturally present in many cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli. Sulforaphane is typically created when these vegetables are chewed, through the interaction of glucoraphanin and the enzyme, myrosinase, which is also present in the food. Sources of sulforaphane include broccoli sprouts, brussel sprouts, and cabbage. 

Sulforaphane helps to enhance your body’s natural detoxification process by stimulating increased internal production of important antioxidant and detoxifying enzymes, and other cell-protective mechanisms that help to eliminate potentially harmful substances from your body. 

Standard broccoli sprout powders contain the inactive, precursor, form of sulforaphane, called glucoraphanin. Glucoraphanin can be converted into sulfuropahane when it reacts with the enzyme, myrosinase. The body is not very efficient at converting glucraphanin into sulforaphane and conversion rates can vary from person to person. The broccoli sprout powder in Reset provides sulforaphane, therefore, providing you with a standardized, known dose, that doesn’t rely on your body’s conversion.
